Advantages of Studying in Korea especially in Ewha

This week's post will be the final topic to be shared by me before the final exam week ㅠㅠㅠ

It is totally a wrap up for us as the final meeting for Online Ambassadors has been held last Monday. It's good for us to know more each other and becoming good friends hope we can meet again next semester!

So, I've been talking about studying in Korea and Ewha for almost 10 weeks consecutively where I think all the readers can digest the informations about it. Before I came to Korea and decided to choose Ewha I never knew that what kind of advantages I can obtain. So after almost 3 years live in here what can I conclude, Advantages of Studying in Korea especially in Ewha :

  1. Learning new language and improve networking skills.
Ewha has quite a large number of international students including language and exchange students. Since we are living in a foreign country we can understand to each other and can make friend easily. Here I have Malaysians in Ewha student organizations. We did trip to Jinhae together, went to the sheep farm and had a lot of good food together.

It is not only your communication skill between the foreigners will increase but also between the Korean. Since I came to Ewha I see a lot of improvement in my English and Korean language. Even though not good as the native speakers but at least I can survive and can mingle with all people.
with my RC groupmates

I feel thankful because I once had a Korean roommate which I can share a lot of thing with her even she was not really talked much to me at the beginning but we became closed as time passes.

2. You have a big Malaysian family here!

Despite of being far away from your biological family. Not too much to worry since you have the Malaysian family here. If you miss family, Malaysian food, fall sick, lonely and etc they always be there for you

this is the picture when I was attending the language school in SNU. Now we are separated to our own way and choice. Also we have PPMK organization that handling Malaysian student issues and matters. So don't be afraid to come here.

3. Living in advance and developed country

You can bit difference but high living cost in here can make you feel want to go home and leave Korea forever >.<

But it is really convenient, fast and easy to live here.

Has  high speed of internet , and fast train and public transportation.

Cuma tu lah dorang ni banyak masalah society gak. Nak yang cantik ja lebih , dari segi education

sampai ramai bunuh diri Belajar dlam 18-19 jam sehari non stop kecuali berak makan. Kalau la

dorang muslim mesti nak cari masa lagi nak solat.

Dekat Malaysia bukan negara 4  musim. So, bila dah sampai sini baru dapat rasa all the seasons in a year. Now we are in winter season. Seronok, dapat bergaya baju macam2, heheheheh. Lain musim lain style baju kan.

So actually belajar kat Korea lagi2 Ewha ni best ja.Cuma kalau nak datang study dtg untuk Master ka PhD ka sbb undergrad ni mcm seronok lagi buat kat Malaysia atau negara lain. Lagi2 kalau nak datang ambek course yg melibatkan banyak Korean language macam susah kot. Tapi apa salah nya challenge diri sendiri kan!!

Good Luck to whoever apply to be one of Ewhaian starting from next semester. I wish you all the best.

I might be one of the ambassador again. >.< still thinking either wants to apply once again or not. huhu

It's been a gooodd community to communicate with. I love all of the girls!

See you when I see you. Good bye and thank you for following my entries ^^

Hai! How are you girls? I felt like it was a long week since the work keep piling up on my table and chasing for datelines, lots of exam etc. So this week is going to be the second last week for me to talk about Ewha in order to complete my task as an Online Ambassador. However, I can update about Ewha whenever I want to and if you have questions do ask me! ;)

So, I have been experiencing lots of Korean Culture activities even I did it during my preparations in Malaysia and also when I was attending the Language center in Seoul National University and Ewha also providing these programs but I still can't have the chance to join since the date were always clashed with my classes. :(

3) Learning how to play Gayageum

Ini pun salah satu experience baruuu wuwuuwuw time tu tengah belajar Korean language and tengah cuti so kita pun belajarla main gayageum

I once got the video but I lost the link and have to search it back at Youtube.

4) Homestay program

Ini adalah program bertujuan untuk meningkatkan skill bahasa Korea dan dapat pengalaman hidup dengan keluarga Korean.

It was really fun because I feel like I have a sister since I was growing up with all brothers.

So what I did during the process of sending application to Ewha were
  1. Translating all my certificates including my birth certs, parents birth certs, academic and non academic certs during elementary school, middle and high school.
  2.      Get verifications from Malaysian embassy in Korea stating that all my documents are true.
  3.     Don't forget to attach your TOPIK result.Minimum  Level 3 required for application.
  4.     Go to http://www.uwayapply.com join to be member and follow all steps and you can choose language. Lepas tu boleh buat payment dari website tu jugak.
  5.     Untuk application saya buat essays pasal self introductions, expectation about  Ewha and subjek yg akan dipelajari, like apa yg anda lihat dalam diri anda dlam msa 10 tahun akan dtg. Agak cerewet lah. ehe. =.=

Time sy apply to saya dah dekat Korea so masa apply tu hantar borang direct pergi x buat post2 pun. dan biasanya kalau memang dri Malaysia tu kena mintak verifications dekat Korean embassy. lagi satu kalau malas nak cari rumah boleh apply dormitory. and ouhh don't forget to apply for scholarship as well ;D. You may my refer my post about residential at here! sini sini! hehhe

My advices untuk yg nak apply ewha ni:

  1.     If you want to apply for engineering course and considering ABEEK ( accreditation board engineering of Korea) is important, you have to make some research about the courses offered.
  2.      Before going to university or enroll as an undergraduate students I advise you to complete your Korean classes first until 4-6th Level of proficiency because it is really helpful.. However, it still difficult to adapt in class because the terms are different ㅠㅠ
  3.     Once u had applied, u can't get your application fees back.
  4.     Please don't miss the due date!
  5.     If you have problems in term of payment or something you can email them at ienter.ewha@ac.kr

Also anything you can ask me by commenting below or email me at afynafina28@gmail.com.

Thank you!!

Foods Around Ewha

There is no sincerer love than the love of food.

yeah.

Food will never disappoints you. The good thing is there's a lot of good food around Ewhaaaa.

Since I am a Muslim there's not really many restaurants offer halal food which is using Halal meat to prepare the dish. However, instead of having food we can eat vegetable or seafood based food.

ALCHON

Restaurant paling famous sekali di kalangan Malaysian disebabkan harganya murah dan sedap. Serta dorang dah tau dah kalau muslim ni mesti mintak buang daging maksudnya dorg prepare makanan tu memang x guna daging langsung from the scratch.

They might know we don't eat non halal meat but just in case if you go any branches you have to say 햄이나 고기 빼 주세요!!

Usually I pick Cheese and spicy flavour.

두끼 떡볶이 (tteokbokki buffet)

Nippong Naeppong

Mostly semua benda boleh makan dekat sini sebab semua seafood and pizza dia pun xda daging. kalau nak dtg makan ramai2 boleh pilih set bahagi sama rata. murah sikit.

Gosami

Gosami ni adlah tempat paling wajib pergi kalau datang korea. ahahha. aku bulan ni ja dah lebih 5 kali makan sini. sebab sedap dan inshaAllah boleh makan la kalau xda daging .

It's now time for desserts

설빙. Sulbing

Ppaik's coffee. and cafe gate

Big. Cheap and delicious.

I really ate a lot since I came here  That's why it's hard for me to lose weight . You may come to Ewha anytime and contact me. Let's eat together.
